i have 3 numbered oil painting on canvas by lee reynolds called artifacts and baskets = worth?
artifacts painting is very large, the two called baskets are smaller but still large they are all three oil painting, signed and numbered
Artwork signed Lee Reynolds was either his earliest works, or works done by apprentices in his studio, Vanguard Studio, in Beverly Hills . . . the artist signed work he did himself Lee Reynolds Burr, which is his full name. From what little I have read so far, it appears that this art is somewhat mass produced, even though it is hand painted, from originals selected for their marketability. You would have to find someone well versed in the market for such art to get an accurate appraisal of what you have. Apparently they were affordably priced in the range of $20 to $80, with a few slightly higher . . . framed and ready to hang. Most good original art today will sell for 5 to 10 times that.
